Illinois GOP Presidential Straw Poll Voting Opens Oct. 29

WASHINGTON--The Illinois Republican Party 2012 presidential straw poll voting opens online on Oct. 29. Though Illinois is seen as an Obama state in the general election, there is still a battle to be fought for Illinois delegates in the March, 2012 Illinois primary.
Voting open only to Illinois residents. A minimum donation of $5 must be made to the state party. At present, the best organized 2012 contender in Illinois is Mitt Romney. But an on-line poll may give the edge to the rival with the best social networking networks.
