eVoter is the only website that allows Illinois organizations to publicize endorsements to voters on a personalized sample ballot

CHICAGO, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- eVoter (www.evoter.com), the first online destination where candidates, voters and endorsing organizations connect, has launched its endorsement functionality. This feature allows organizations to register on eVoter and enter their endorsements. Voters are then able to filter by their preferred organizations to view endorsed candidates on their ballot.

"Our mission is to help voters educate themselves in a non-partisan and unbiased way," said Adam Kravitz, CEO of Political Technologies LLC, owners and operators of eVoter. "One of eVoter's key features is that voters can toggle between different organizations to see who is endorsed on their ballot. In addition to interactive candidate profiles, this endorsement option is what makes eVoter a unique online voter resource."

Organizations can list their endorsements on eVoter by paying a small fee, which is a fraction of the cost of any other method of publicizing endorsements. Small local or neighborhood organizations can get their message out for $50--less than the cost of running a local ad, or printing palm cards. Organizations also get a profile page with a unique web address where they can explain their mission and goals to voters.

"Judicial and County Board races often don't generate a lot of media or public attention, so organizations can have a real impact by listing their endorsements on eVoter," said Philip Muller, president of Political Technologies. "Voters know which issues are important to them and they want to know where down-ballot candidates stand. Now they can use eVoter to make sure they are voting for candidates who share their core political values, from U.S. Senator to Precinct Committeeman."

Illinois, which has the nation's first primary election in 2010, is the first state where eVoter is available. Political Technologies plans to provide the service in more than a half-dozen states by the 2010 general election and all 50 states by 2012.

To list their endorsements on eVoter, organizations can visit www.eVoter.com or call (866) 976-0555.
