Voting in the Valley just got a little easier through a new web service launched today that puts election information, polling locations, candidate profiles and endorsements at the public's fingertips.

The Central Valley Business Times launched the online service through a partnership with election information website, eVoter. The service, accessible at www.centralvalleybusinesstimes.com on the far right, is geared toward voters from Stockton to Fresno, allowing them to locate their polling place, generate and print customized ballots, access absentee ballot applications and look up endorsements.
For a minimal cost, candidates can purchase an online profile on eVoter to reach voters and organizations and can publicize their endorsements that people can view in preparation for California's June 8 Primary Elections.
"Our visitors are local business people who are very involved in their communities," said Doug Caldwell, editor and publisher of the Central Valley Business Times. "eVoter makes it easy for them to find the information they need on local races simply by entering their address through a search tool on our website."
Candidates or organizations that are interested in creating a profile should visit www.centralvalleybusinesstimes.com and click on "Visit eVoter.com" in the eVoter search box or call (866) 976-0555.
