With Election Day not far off, some voters need help getting some basic information; San Diego Republican and Democratic Parties have Partnered with eVoter.com; eVoter also powers NBC San Diego's eVoter Guide
NBC TV San Diego October 7, 2010:
Reporter Rory Devine of NBC TV San Diego reports that San Diego Republican and Democratic Parties have partnered with eVoter.com. She describes eVoter (evoter.com) as... "a new online tool that allows voters to get more information about their candidates and propositions, think of it as a go-to guide for the upcoming election, including details about candidates, endorsements and polling stations... they can even print out sample ballots... It's inexpensive for candidates and free for voters. "
"The world is changing and If you're not on the internet as a candidate, you are missing out...." says Tony Krvaric, Chairman of the San Diego Republican Party.
"They can learn about our endorsements or other organizational endorsements, and really vet the candidates and the propositions and other things that are on the ballot," says Jess Durfee, Chair of the San Diego County Democratic Party.
The Parties use of Facebook and Twitter are also discussed.
