While most politicos are watching Iowa poll numbers, Illinois Republicans want to have influence in the 2012 election.
Today, the Illinois GOP launched the first ever online straw poll in an effort to garner influence this election cycle.
From now until Saturday, November 5 at 7:00PM, registered voters in Illinois can log into the straw poll website, pay five dollars, and participate in the event.
"We're just trying to make an opportunity for the voters and the people of Illinois to speak out as to who they think is the best person to carry the torch forward into the presidential election next November," says Jan Weller of the Henry County GOP....
