CANDIDATE STATEMENT

Judge James Kaplan has served as Judge since 2005, and in 2010 he was appointed a Judge in the 8th Subcircuit of Cook County (Cole Vacancy) by the Illinois Supreme Court. Judge Kaplan worked as an attorney for over 35 years and has the experience required to be a fair and ethical judge. Judge Kaplan is a lifelong member of our community, and he and his wife Allin are the proud parents of three children.
