CANDIDATE STATEMENT
Judge Kevin Horan was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court after more than 30 years as an attorney, and he is committed to justice, fairness and integrity.
Judge Horan was born and raised in our community. He attended Notre Dame High School in Niles, Illinois and went on to graduate with a Bachelorâs Degree from Marquette University. In 1979 Kevin Horan graduated from DePaul University College of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar.
In 1979 Kevin was hired as an Assistant Cook County Stateâs Attorney where he worked for eight years. In 1987 he became an Associate Attorney at Rock, Fusco & Garvey, Ltd. and was later promoted to Partner in 1991. In 2005 Kevin became a Co-founding Partner and Member at Rock Fusco, LLC.
Judge Kevin Horan is an experienced trial attorney and has tried cases before both State and Federal Courts and has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He has also been a guest lecturer for the Chicago Bar Association.
Judge Kevin Horan lives with his wife Marcia in Cook County. They have six children and are active members of St. Francis Xavier parish. Kevin is a former community Little League, soccer and basketball coach. In his free time Judge Horan enjoys playing golf and tennis, reading, bicycling and spending time with his family.
