Sierra Club Illinois Political Action Committee
ORGANIZATION STATEMENT
The Sierra Club, Illinois Chapter Political Action Committee works to identify and elect environmental champions to local, state, and federal office in Illinois.
We support candidates who share our goals for a cleaner, healthier Illinois:
-Smart energy solutions that will help solve global warming
-Action to protect and clean up our rivers, lakes, and streams
-Protection of Illinois' wild places and natural heritage
To make our endorsements, we interview candidates, research voting records, campaign platforms, and assess each race's political situation. We are nonpartisan, and support Democrats, Republicans, and third party candidates.
