Deadline for Vote-By-Mail application in the State of California

Registered California voters may apply at any time for a vote-by-mail ballot for an upcoming California election. Your California Vote-By-Mail application must be received no later than 7 days before an election. If it's not, you will need to apply in person to get a vote-by-mail ballot for that election.

Complete, print, sign and date the form below, and mail it to your respective California county elections office, see the table below for a directory of all county elections offices.

Members of the military can obtain an Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) from their installation's Voting Assistance Officer. Civilian overseas voters can obtain an Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) at any U.S. embassy or consulate. Once completed send to your respective Election Authority below.
